Virginia Ann Beasley, 77

January 16, 1949 – June 8, 2026

Tupelo -Virginia Ann Beasley, 77, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, in the Hospice Unit of North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on January 16, 1949, in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1966, she married the love of her life, Larry Beasley, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories. Their enduring bond remained a source of strength and happiness until Larry’s passing in 2019.



She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the people she loved most. She enjoyed traveling to Branson, Missouri, shopping, and expressing her creativity through painting. Her family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She took great pride in tending her beautiful geraniums and lovingly caring for her mother’s irises, preserving a treasured connection to her family and the memories they shared.

Survivors include her three children, Kim Beasley Shelton and her husband, Nicky, of Olive Branch, Karl Beasley of Saltillo, and Scott Beasley and his wife, Krissie, of Tupelo; three grandchildren, Emily Wilson and her husband, Curt, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Madisen Scott and her husband, Colby, of Saltillo, and Ethan Shelton of Olive Branch; one great-grandchild, Hollie Wilson of Jonesboro, Akansas; and her sister, Phyllis Wigginton of Smithville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Beasley; and her infant son, Kennon Beasley.

Graveside services honoring her life will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Pegues Funeral directors have been entrusted with the care of her arrangements.
