Skylar Grace Wilson, New Albany’s Little Miss Hospitality

Skylar Grace Wilson, the daughter of Kevin and Dannielle Wilson has been chosen to represent New Albany as Little Miss New Albany Hospitality. Skylar was selected by New Albany’s Miss Hospitality Ivy Jordan.

The Little Miss Hospitality title was designed for each community representative to serve as mentors to young ladies in their hometowns while instilling a love and knowledge of Mississippi’s tourism and economic development in the next generation.

Little Miss will serve alongside their Miss Hospitality during her reign, helping to promote their community. Additionally, they will accompany them the last two days of the state competition in Hattiesburg, including time on the stage both nights.

Skylar is 6 years old and attends Ingomar Attendance Center where she just completed the first grade.

“Skylar is a welcomed addition to New Albany’s Miss Hospitality program,” said Billye Jean Stroud, Community Development Director. “I think we should all be excited and proud of both of these representatives and support them in every way we can to make their experience in the Miss Hospitality program a success.”

The state pageant will be in July in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The young women crowned Miss Hospitality serves as a goodwill ambassador, traveling regionally and nationally to promote the Hospitality State.
