Faulkner the Man Category
1st place Haley Yurkow, New Albany is the winner of the Faulkner & Folk Art Category – Faulkner the Man with her etching on glass portrait using his words.
2nd place in Falkner The Man is Joan Gaines from Ingomar with her Literary Map of Faulkner’s works
3rd place winner (s) is the New Albany art class of Mrs. Nina Beth Capaning with their Collage of Faulkner the Man,” He was 5’5” tall – 100 works”, made up of the words he wrote.
Interpretive Category
1st place J-Man of Oxford for his Movie Poster of As I Lay Dying
2nd place goes to Jaylene Whitehurst of Corinth for her Assemblage Let Go of the Rope
3rd place goes to Eileen Sharp of Tupelo for her gourdian art – “Addie”
Merit Awards go to Jonathan Smith of Myrtle for his Vardaman’s Fish
And to Ann Waller of Booneville for her assemblage “Yes,yes,yes,yes, yes”
