New Albany-Zelma Jesteen Dunahoo, age 91, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County. She was born June 16, 1927, in Union County, MS to Wesley Melson and Betty Davis Melson. She was a homemaker and a member of Moss Hill Baptist Church. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019, at United Funeral Service with Bro. Charlie Ransier officiating. Burial will be in Glenfield Memorial Park. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Quitman C. Dunahoo; a daughter, Deborah McKissick (Gary); two sisters, Elois Tanner and Edith Green; two granddaughters, Tabitha Gillentine (Pate) and Cecily McClarty; a grandson, Bentley Pannell (Haley); six great-grandchildren, Lanna Bailey, Mason Gillentine, Payton McClarty, Libby Kingsley, Levi Kingsley, and Lincoln Pannell; and a special care giver, Carrie Keener.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be the day of the service from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

The family request that memorials be made to Moss Hill Baptist Church.
