2026 Fossil Road Show arrives in New Albany June 13: Bring your finds for ID help

Calling all rock hounds. The Annual Fossil Road Show is Saturday, June
13, 2026, 10 – 2 at the Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany.

Paleontologist George Phillips, from the Mississippi Museum of Natural
Science, will present a program on Ice Age Fossils of the Area at 11a.m.

The Memphis Gem and Mineral Society will be on hand with rocks and gems for sale.

The North Mississippi Gem and Minerals society will be at the event with hands-on activities for youth.

The baby mammoth tooth recently found in the area will be on exhibit.
