Help vote Tanglefoot Trail into the Hall of Fame

Mississippi’s Tanglefoot Trail is one of three nominees for the Rails to Trails Hall of Fame. New Albany is the trailhead for the Tanglefoot Trail.

Entry to the Hall of Fame will go to the trail that gets the most votes. Voting is from July 2nd to July 10th. You may vote as many times as you wish.

The winner will be chosen for merits such as scenic value, high use, trail and trailside amenities, historical significance, excellence in management and maintenance of facility, community connections and geographic distribution. All three nominees are Hall-of-Fame-worthy trails. But only one can be the 2019 inductee!

Hall of fame rail-trails receive a variety of honors, including special signage to place along their trails, a Trail of the Month feature and a highlight in Rails to Trails magazine.
