College Countdown Application Day at NAHS

College Countdown Application Day was held Wednesday, September 25 at New Albany High School.

Admissions counselors from Northeast Mississippi Community College and University of Mississippi were on hand to answer questions regarding admissions process, housing, and scholarships. High school counselors assisted students in completing applications to colleges they are interested in attending.

Ninety-five seniors participated in College Countdown Application Day with 24 institutions applied to by one or more students. Forty-one of these students are first generation college students. There were 205 college applications submitted during the day.
