County school spelling bee winners announced

The Union County Spelling Bee will be Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Union County Courthouse.

Mindi Stout, Spelling Bee Coordinator for Union County, has provided the names of winners of preliminary spelling bees at the county schools.

They include:

East Union:

1st place – Jobe Basden

2nd place – Danielle Braswell

3rd place – Brayden Briggs

Ingomar:

1st place – Lizzy Jo Hall

2nd place – Hunter Rasco

3rd place – Sierra Davis

Myrtle:

1st place – Noah Massengill

2nd place – Destiny Harris

3rd place – Blake Thompson

West Union:

1st place – Graham Hall
