Votes needed from Union County and surrounding towns in Levitt Amp contest
As of midnight Saturday, New Albany has dropped from 6th to 10th place with only 2 days left to vote.
This competition will award 15 grants of $20,000 to 15 winning communities to support free music concerts.
New Albany is the smallest community in the running, so we must keep ourselves as high as possible in the tally of votes so that larger cities will not surge past us at the last minute.
If you have not yet voted in the Levitt AMP competition, please click the link below and go on-line to vote for New Albany. We cannot get to the semi-finals unless we are in the top 25 highest vote recipients. Community support is vital.
There are other MS communities in the running, and after you vote for New Albany, you may wish to support a sister community, also.
What you need to know:
- Online public voting opens November 2, 2015 and ends November 30, 2015 at 5:00 PM PST.
- An individual voter may vote for up to five different submissions, but can only vote for each submission once.
- After public voting determines the Top 25 finalists, Levitt Pavilions will then select the 15 winning Levitt AMP grant recipients.
- Winners will be announced on January 5, 2016
There are 40 entrants in the running at this time, with New Albany being the smallest community included.
