Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic opens Saltillo location
Just in time to for the IMPC Grand Opening in Saltillo, MS, Mother Nature was kind enough to deduct several degrees from temperatures that have recently scorched our area. The large crowd of Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic’s staff, families, friends and other well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the event were appreciative of the more normal weather.
After a “soft opening” a couple of weeks ago, the IMPC Saltillo Clinic began seeing scheduled patients this week at its new facility on Market Drive in Saltillo. The Saltillo location will offer the same range of services that are provided in New Albany.
Dr. Matthew Rhinewalt is now working full time at the Saltillo location. He is a board-certified internist and pediatrician, and has completed a fellowship in palliative medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Initially, much of IMPC’s New Albany staff will work with the full-time Saltillo staff on a rotating basis to provide excellent patient care.
The Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic of New Albany, PLLC was founded by Dr. Eric Harding, MD in 2003. Dr. Shane Scott joined the practice in 2004. There are now 6 physicians, 7 family nurse practitioners and one physician assistant.
IMPC New Albany can currently accommodate over 200 patients daily, and hopes to eventually be serving about the same number in the Saltillo community. At present, IMPC has nearly 80 employees, a number which will likely grow along with the Saltillo location.
Patients aged 0-100 are welcome, or even older should the occasion arise. There will be urgent care services available all day, six days a week, with no appointments required. Among the services offered are Wellness, Chronic Care Management, and Remote Patient Monitoring.
