Kathy Plaxico Davis, 73
January 1, 1952 – Friday, July 18, 2025
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
After spending a full life devoted to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ, our beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, treasured friend, and faithful servant of the Lord, Sister Kathy Plaxico Davis, age 73, met the promise of her Savior on the morning of Friday, July 18, 2025. With peace in her heart and Heaven in her view, she stepped into her eternal home and was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Bro. Clyde, her precious children, Nova and Russell, and all those who had gone before her in Christ.
Though our hearts ache with sorrow, we find deep and abiding comfort in knowing that Sister Kathy has been forever healed and is now experiencing the fullness of every promise she spent her life proclaiming. Her faith never wavered, her voice never tired, and her mission was clear—to point others to Jesus. From pulpits to porches, from prayer meetings to everyday moments, she shared the Gospel with grace, conviction, and joy.
