Linda Earline Crum, 72

January 3, 1953August 7, 2025

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23

Our beloved mother, devoted sister, cherished grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, Mrs. Linda Earline Crum, age 72, peacefully departed this earthly life and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday morning, August 7, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi.

Funeral service honoring Mrs. Linda will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Edwards and Bro. Tommy Garrett officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no graveside service.

Born on January 3, 1953, in Jackson, Mississippi, Mrs. Linda was the daughter of the late Earl and Lillie Mae Williams Floyd. She received her education from Walnut High School and on February 25, 1972, she married the love of her life, Mr. Don Crum, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a strong and faithful union, raising three sons and building a home rooted in love, faith, and family.

A devoted Christian and proud Southern Baptist, Mrs. Linda was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a heart overflowing with compassion. She joyfully served others as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Gilbert’s Home Health for many years, bringing comfort, dignity, and care to those in need. Even after retirement, her servant’s heart continued to shine through in every aspect of her life.

Those who knew Mrs. Linda will remember her for her gentle spirit, humble nature, and the way she made everyone around her feel loved and valued. She had a special way of seeing the beauty in small things—whether it was watching birds from her front door, crafting something with her hands, or simply enjoying sweet time with her family. Her creativity, kindness, and sense of purpose left an indelible mark on all who were blessed to know her.

Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family, where her love was a constant presence and her faith a guiding light. To know her was to be reminded of God’s goodness and grace. As we celebrate her homegoing, we rejoice in knowing that she is now resting in perfect peace, reunited with her beloved husband, and embraced by the arms of her Savior.

Those left to carry on her legacy include her three sons, Donald Crum (Sandra), Allan Crum (Candace Huddleston), and Greg Crum (Shannon), one sister, Cynthia Holley, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Bob Casey and Earl Floyd, Jr., one sister, Ruth Floyd, and a brother in law, Billy Holley.

Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories with Mrs. Linda’s family.
