Brent Skelton, 52

June 25, 1973 – August 30, 2025

Brent Skelton, age 52, of Guin, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo.

Born June 25, 1973, Brent lived a life full of creativity, kindness, and love. He brought joy to all who knew him through his warm spirit and gentle soul.

Brent had a true gift for the arts. He loved creating arts and crafts, cooking, designing jewelry to share and sell, and bringing beauty into spaces through interior design. He had a deep love for his dogs and found happiness in the simple, meaningful moments of life.

He is survived by his husband, Jay Skelton; his sisters, Heather Murphy (Sherry Cousino) of Dearborn Heights, MI, and Regina Miller (Scott Donahee) of Onsted, MI; his brother, William Murphy (Janie) of Lookout Mountain, GA; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Murphy; his biological mother, Laura Paulson; and his grandparents, William and Dorothy Paulson.

No public services will be held at this time. Associated Family Funeral Home of Tupelo is honored to serve Brent’s family during this time of loss.
