Perry Nolen Sheffield, Sr., 73
September 29, 1952 – December 13, 2025
Skyline Community-Perry Nolen Sheffield Sr., 73, crossed over to eternal life from his home in the Skyline Community of Lee County on December 13, 2025, after a period of declining health. He was born in Tupelo, MS on September 29, 1952 to the late Robert Nolen Sheffield and Jimmie Mae Payne Sheffield. Perry was a 1970 graduate of Mooreville High School and attended ICC. He devoted 30 years at Super Sagless until retiring. Perry was a good ole soul and life-long resident of the Skyline community and loved helping his friends, family, and his mother. He loved watching Ole Miss Rebels, NASCAR, and raising his chickens. He thoroughly enjoyed watching his grandkids in their activities and supporting them.
He is survived by his mother, Jimmie Sheffield of Mantachie; children: George “Mikey” Sheffield and his fiance’ Savanna Whitten of Skyline and Jessica Bailey of Mobile, AL; grandchildren: Meaghann (Bug), Alexander, Caroline, Emma, Connor, Isaiah, Samantha Barr, Ava Marie Smith, Kaci Sellers, Lexi (Alexis Lyles); sister, Jan (Robert) Stembridge of Skyline community.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with Bro. Robert Ellis officiating and Rev. Rob Gill singing. Visitation will begin at 12 PM until service time Tuesday. Burial will follow at Gilvo Cemetery. Holland Funeral Directors of Tupelo is honored to serve the family.
Perry is preceded in death by his father; wife, Treva Davis Sheffield; daughter, Tracie Steele; sons: Perry Sheffield Jr. and Kenny Sheffield; grandparents, Byron and Lorene Vaughn Payne, Jeff and Estelle Summers Sheffield.
Pallbearers will be Isaiah, Mikey, Terry, Chip Garrison, and Mikey Walton.
