Gary Lee Windham, 67, passed away on April 3, 2026 at his residence in the Ingomar Community. He was born December 7, 1958 to Woodrow and Opal Holland Windham in Ripley, Mississippi. He was raised in Blue Mountain, Mississippi.
Gary loved life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. On Sunday mornings he would go and spend time with his brother Herman and the guys at the shop. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and grilling. He was a Hamm operator and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Opal Windham; his grandmothers, Barbara Windham and Audie Holland; his sister Shirley McKeown and brother-in-law, Major McKeown.
He is survived by his wife Kimberley Windham of New Albany, MS; daughter Alexis Windham of Crystal River, FL; sons, Matthew Windham and wife, Alexandria, of Plantersville, MS, Christopher Windham and Nicholas Windham of Blue Mountain, MS, Rodney Windham of New Albany, MS; sisters Ann Cornelius (Wayne) of Ripley, TN, Teresa Bullock (Keith) of Blue Mountain, MS; brother Herman Windham (Dorothy) of New Albany, MS; step-daughters, Amanda Hand of Salisbury, MD, Makenzie Powell and Destiny Ross of New Albany, MS; step-son, Jeremy Powell of Salt Lake City, Utah and by his ex-wife, Paula Windham of Crystal River, FL.
Visitation will be at the United Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Dustin Asher and Bro. Quinton Ratliff will officiate. Burial will be at Glenfield Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Donald McKeown, Ronnie McKeown, Keith Bullock, Joe Meyers, Jake Bryant, Terry Hunsucker, Chris Koon and Ryder Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Windham, Cole Windham, Brad Potts, Cecil Foster, and Shane Robbins.
