Timothy Wayne “Mebo” Hill, 58

March 18, 1967 – April 26, 2026

A man known by all and loved by many, Timothy Wayne Hill—better known to everyone as “Mebo”—departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and those dearest to him.

A memorial service remembering and honoring Mebo’s life will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM until the time of service.

Born on March 18, 1967, in Ripley, Mississippi, Mebo was the son of Mr. Daniel Robert Hill and his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Hill, and the late Carol Jean White Hill. He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School before going on to dedicate his life to a career as a truck driver. Mebo truly loved the open road, and his work gave him the opportunity to travel across the country, seeing places many only dream of while providing for the family he loved so deeply.

On March 5, 2004, he married the love of his life, Jeana Hill, and together they built a life centered around love, laughter, family, and unwavering devotion.

A Christian and member of Springdale Baptist Church, Mebo was a man of simple pleasures, strong opinions, and an even stronger heart. He found his greatest joy in fishing with his family—especially with his son—enjoying his daily sausage and biscuits, playing cards and dice, and spending time with those he loved most. He was straightforward, strong-willed, and never pretended to be anything other than exactly who he was. If Mebo loved you, he loved you fiercely and fully. His heart of gold, caring spirit, and loyal friendship made him one of a kind.

He loved his wife and children with everything he had, was the kind of brother anyone would be blessed to have, and the truest kind of friend—a man you could always count on. His laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Though Mebo’s passing leaves a tremendous void, his legacy of love, loyalty, and unforgettable memories will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His life was not measured in years, but in the countless moments of joy, laughter, and love he gave so freely.

In addition to his father and stepmother, those left to carry on his memory include his beloved wife, Jeana Hill; three daughters, Denise Hopper, Megan Jeter (Chanston), and Hillary Clark; three sons, Jarrod Hill, Brandon Clark, and Colby Clark; two sisters, Pam Bennett (Eddie) and Dawn Rinehart (Chris); two brothers, Randy Hill (Stacy) and Kevin Bennett; two special aunts, Helen Chapman and Sandra Edler; along with nine grandchildren and a whole slew of nieces, nephews, and many, many dear friends.

He was also preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carol Jean White Hill, cherished grandson, Paxxtyn Clark; his infant sister, Karen Elaine Hill; his grandparents, Eugene and Euwilda White, and Ellis and Emily Hill; and his step-grandfather, Bill White.

In memory of Mebo, the family asks that memorial donations be made in honor of Paxxtyn Clark to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, a cause held close to their hearts.

Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories with Mebo’s family.
