Rainbow Learning Center 2026 Pre-K Celebrates Graduation Golden Moment
On Saturday afternoon, May 9, 2026, well-prepared Pre-K students at New Albany’s Rainbow Learning Center demonstrated their readiness for entering Kindergarten this coming Fall.
In front of a room packed with family, friends and Rainbow Learning Center staff, thirteen excited students “strutted their stuff”. Their teachers, Ms. Key and Ms. Jay had spent many hours preparing their charges for graduation, and it showed. It is somewhat shocking what youngsters are now expected to know before starting the first grade. A video presentation during the ceremonies clearly showed that their teachers also know how to make learning fun, and the kids seem to love them for that. It was also obvious that the students all wanted their classmates to be successful. When someone was a bit forgetful, friends tried to help; when someone was a bit shy, friends cheered them on.
After brief preliminary comments from Ms. Minerva Graham, the students led in prayer, welcomed the visitors, and led in pledging allegiance to the flag. Then they went on to demonstrate, as a single group, in smaller groups and as individuals, the large range of knowledge they would take with them to school in the Fall. Congratulations to the staff of Rainbow Learning Center for a job well done. See the video below for the entire event.
Congratulations to the PreK graduates: Nova Kye Brady, Rayne Reed Brewer, Caislee Mae Brown, Christopher Cox Jr., Alexandria Adore Cullens, Aalayah Zendaya Ford, Josiah Kenneth Gray, Taylor Elise Harris, Aniyah Marie Howell, Lyrique Amor Renecia Jones, Mavie Jo Knight, Jalaya Deneice Renae Sanders, Tyler Lamar Sanders Jr.
