Museum offers free Geneaology Workshop to public

Interested in your family’s history? A Genealogy Workshop at the Union County Heritage Museum is set July 8 – July 10. It’s free and open to the public.

Beginning African American Genealogy will be 1 p.m., July 8, as genealogist Joyce Lawson of Mississippi Department of Archives and History will guide the program.

An Introduction to Tools and Methods will begin 1t 10 a.m. on July 9 with Steve Robbins.

On Friday, July 10 at 9 a.m. join Cathy Garrett for a New Albany Cemetery Tour and discussion of the tools used to find graves.
