Barbara “Barb” Jean Clapper Lollar, 76, a beloved resident of Hickory Flat, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Funeral services honoring Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Church with Bro. Jon Mark Jarrett officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on May 19, 1950, in Joliet, Illinois, Barb was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Wilson Clapper. She was a 1968 graduate of Lockport West High School and later worked as a store clerk before dedicating herself to raising her family as a loving stay-at-home mother.
Barb was the devoted wife of Randy Lollar, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Nothing brought Barb more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved traveling, shopping, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. A faithful member of Flat Rock Baptist Church, Barb especially treasured the fellowship of her WMU ladies. She never met a stranger and had a true gift for making people feel welcome. Her warm smile, kind heart, and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Barb also had a special love for Disney, finding joy in its magic throughout her life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Randy Lollar; two daughters, Laura Maki of Hickory Flat and Vicki Morse (Bob) of St. Anne, Illinois; two sons, Scott Lollar of Hickory Flat and Mark Lollar of Joliet, Illinois; one sister, Frances Baish (Buck) of Shorewood, Illinois; seven beloved grandchildren; four precious great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jason Gadd, Johnathan Gadd, Landon Gadd, Colton Gadd, Travis Decanter, and Dalton Gadd.
Barb’s legacy of kindness, faith, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
