Willie Allen Jones, 51

April 1, 1975 – September 5, 2026

Willie Allen Jones, known simply as “Allen” to all who knew and loved him, departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi.

Funeral services honoring Allen’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at New Covenant Christian Assembly Church in Falkner, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until time of service. Rebon Brooks will officiate.

Born April 1, 1975, in Ripley, Mississippi, Allen was the son of the late Larry Jones and Mary Blaze Cupples. He attended Kossuth High School and was a man of many talents who was never afraid of a little hard work. In his earlier years, he enjoyed working at the sawmill and was later employed as a factory worker with Ashley Furniture. A natural with his hands, Allen also worked as a mechanic on the side and could often be found tinkering with something that needed fixing.

A Christian, Allen enjoyed attending New Covenant Christian Assembly Church whenever he was able. He was a simple man who never needed much to be content. He found happiness in dirt track racing, working on cars and lawnmowers, or simply sitting on the porch watching the world go by. Allen truly was a “scene watcher,” and it never really mattered what the scene was—he was perfectly content just sitting back, taking it all in, and enjoying the moment.

More than anything, however, Allen treasured his family. He loved aggravating his brothers, visiting with his children, and, perhaps most of all, spoiling his grandchildren. Time spent with the people he loved was time well spent, and those ordinary moments together became some of the greatest joys of his life.

Allen Jones was truly one of a kind. His easygoing nature, fun-loving personality, and ability to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life made him someone people enjoyed being around. Though his departure came far too unexpectedly, the laughter he shared, the memories he made, and the love he had for his family will not soon be forgotten. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Courtney Barber (Presley); his son, Kendrick Jones (Kelsey); two brothers, Clint Jones (Meshelle) and David Jones (Melinda); two grandsons, Matthew and Mason Barber; the mother of his children, Tina Jones; three nephews, Larry Jones III, Austin Jones (Mallory), and J.T. Jones (Larissa Hopkins); two nieces, Tessa Jones and Josie Foster (Kevin Hernandez); along with many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Jones and Mary Blaze Cupples.
