Tupelo police chief job still vacant, most other appointive positions filled during July
At its July20 meeting, the Tupelo City Council quickly processed the routine business on its agenda, while making no mention of plans to permanently fill the Tupelo Chief of Police position recently vacated by Bart Aguirre. Jackie Clayton is now interim chief.
