Beverly Ann Clifton, 69

February 28, 1954 – November 3, 2023

New Albany-Beverly Ann Clifton, 69, went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 3, 2023. She was born February 28, 1954 to Edwin and Aleta Sappington Clifton. She had a B.S. Degree from Ole Miss. She was a remarkable and selfless woman. She always tended to her two brothers and helped her mother around the farm as much as she could. She enjoyed painting in her spare time. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Beverly was a talented seamstress and did many costumes, doll clothes, and provided many family members with masks to protect them through the pandemic. She cared for her family with all the love and devotion she had. She was so loved and will be greatly missed. She is a member of Neely Baptist Church.
Services to honor Beverly’s life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Myrtle Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Pilcher officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the start of the service also at Myrtle Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Aleta Sappington Clifton, two brothers Edwin Lawrence Clifton (Teresa Ann) and David Lynn Clifton (Carmen Lee) on niece, Elena Marie Whisenant, one nephew, Paul Gleen Clifton, and one great nephew, Oliver Levi Whisenant. She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Cox Clifton, and a nephew, Matthew Clifton.
