Bonnie Louise Cooper, 83

 July 27, 1940 – December 5, 2023

Myrtle- Bonnie Louise Cooper, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born on July 27, 1940.



Bonnie lived a selfless and giving life, always thinking of others. She had a heart of gold where she found joy in making others laugh and feel valued. Her kindness and generosity were evident to all who knew her. Bonnie dedicated herself to her family and was a devoted mother and wife. Bonnie Cooper will be remembered as a kind-hearted and selfless individual who touched the lives of many with her love and generosity.

Bonnie had many interests and hobbies throughout her life. She enjoyed designing handmade jewelry and was skilled in the art of crocheting. These creative pursuits brought her immense joy and allowed her to showcase her talents.

Bonnie’s faith was an integral part of her life, providing her with strength and guidance. She was saved at a young age and continued her faithfulness throughout her life; she attended Temperance Hill Baptist Church in Potts Camp.

Bonnie leaves behind a loving family and numerous friends who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband, Ken Cooper of Myrtle; three children, Carla Skinner and her husband, Kennie, of Whiteville, Tennessee, Stephanie Carvalho of Brick Township, New Jersey, and Mary Julianna Kröeckel and her husband, John, of Hamilton, New Jersey. In addition to her children, Bonnie is also survived by five grandchildren: Jack Mullenix, Mark Carvalho, Jessica Hammond, Jason Kröeckel, and Matthew Rispoli all from New Jersey. Furthermore, she is survived by stepdaughter Melanie Cooper and stepson Marty Cooper.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents as well as five siblings: Ruth, Sue, Floyd, David, and Jack.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Pegues, Tupelo.

Services to honor her memory will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at Temperance Hill Cemetery in Potts Camp.
