Brandy Frazier Hubbard and Rebecca Lizanna, the father of her children, Michael Hodge, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Anthony Ray and Bobbie Ruth Frazier Ray, a special grandfather, Billy Gene Ray, a close cousin, Delaina Barnes, and her niece, Caitlyn Beaty Sipes.
A dear family member shared these heartfelt words in remembrance of Lanette:
Lanette was a woman who loved with all her heart. She cared deeply about her family and friends, and the people she loved meant the world to her. She had a heart that cared, a love that ran deep, and a way of making the people around her feel that they mattered. Family was important to Lanette, and the bonds she shared with those she loved will forever remain a part of her story.
Losing someone you love is never easy, and losing someone who holds a special place in your family leaves a void that words simply cannot fill. It is hard to accept that someone who was once here, sharing life and making memories, is no longer just a phone call or a visit away. The pain of losing Lanette is real, and she will be missed more than words could ever explain.
As we say goodbye, we will hold on to the memories, the love, and the moments that made Lanette who she was. Although our hearts are hurting, we are grateful for the time we had with her and the love she gave so freely to those around her.
Death may take someone from our sight, but it can never take away the love we carry for them. Lanette’s life will continue to live on through the memories she leaves behind and in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
For her children and grandchildren, this loss is especially heartbreaking. There is no replacing a mother’s love or a grandmother’s place in a family’s heart. Although the days ahead may be difficult, may they always find comfort in the love she gave them, the memories they made together, and the bond that death can never break. Her love will remain with them through the stories they tell, the memories they cherish, and the pieces of her they carry within themselves.
