Christine Jackson, 63

February 8, 1963 – October 12, 2026

Christine Jackson, 63, of Belden, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on February 8, 1963, to Cecil and Polly Jackson.

Christine was a woman full of life, laughter and faith. She had a feisty spirit, a quick wit, never hesitated to speak her mind, and had a personality that was truly her own.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially thrifting and discovering a good bargain, cooking for those she loved, and singing. Christine also had a creative side and enjoyed writing plays. Above all, she loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life.

As much as Christine enjoyed her hobbies, nothing meant more to her than her family. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely, and they held a special place in her heart. Her family will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love she leaves behind.

She is survived by her daughter, Jachrista Gilleylen (Surframe); her sons, Joshua Madison, Jonathan Madison (Ashley), and Christian Madison; her sisters, Janette Johnson and Frances Simmons; and her brother, Cecil Jackson, Jr. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Sareniti Gilleylen, Jamison Gilleylen, Nevaeh Gilleylen, Amora Gilleylen Jackson Gilleylen, Caleb Madison, Somer Madison, Jonah Madison, and Amelia Madison with baby Gabriella Gilleyen expected soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Polly Jackson; and her sisters, Linda Parker, Carleen Kennard, and Lottie Jackson.

Christine will be remembered for her strong personality, and the deep love she had for her family and the Lord. She was never afraid to be herself, and those who knew and loved her wouldn’t have had her any other way. Though her family will miss her dearly, they will carry her love, her laughter, and her unforgettable spirit with them always.
