Catrina Marie Boesing McMahan, 38
June 24, 1987 – April 23, 2026
A beautiful and bubbly life, lived far too briefly, Catrina Marie Boesing McMahan, age 38, departed this earthly life unexpectedly in a tragic automobile accident on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
A memorial service celebrating and honoring Catrina’s precious life will be held at a later date in both Mississippi and Missouri. Arrangements and service details will be announced as they become available.
Born on June 24, 1987, in St. Louis, Missouri, Catrina was the beloved daughter of Kimberly Sue Baker Morgan and the late Mathew John Boesing. She began her education at Troy Buchanan High School before later attending Winfield High School, where she graduated. Raised in Troy, Missouri, Catrina built lifelong friendships and was deeply loved by so many throughout her hometown for her bright spirit and magnetic personality.
In June of 2025, she made Mississippi her home, wanting to be closer to family—especially her cherished sister, Destiny. Once she planted roots in North Mississippi, Catrina quickly made her mark wherever she went. She began working with Go Orthodontics in Saltillo, where she became not only a valued coworker, but a true friend to many and someone loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Christian and faithful member of Flat Rock Baptist Church, Catrina carried her warm and welcoming spirit into her church family as well. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, never meeting a stranger, and gladly became involved in the women’s group, where her kindness and joyful personality made her instantly beloved.
Catrina had a gift for bringing people together. She was often the heart behind every gathering—the one planning the parties, organizing the holidays, and making every celebration feel special. She was incredibly creative, always able to make something beautiful out of whatever she had. Christmas was especially close to her heart, as she loved the magic of the season and the joy of making memories with those she loved most.
She also found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—running marathons, working outdoors, planting flowers in her garden, and creating beauty around her. Full of life and energy, Catrina was known for her bubbly personality, outgoing nature, and unmistakable sense of style. A true “girly girl” to the core, she loved fashion, top designer brands, and staying ahead of every new trend. Affectionately nicknamed “Hollywood,” she carried herself with confidence, sparkle, and grace that made her unforgettable.
Above all else, Catrina’s greatest joy in life was her family. She found her deepest purpose in being a mother and poured her heart into loving her son. She adored spoiling her nieces and nephews and treasured every moment spent with them. Even from a young age, she carried a nurturing, motherly spirit—always helping care for her younger sister, always putting others before herself.
Catrina was the kind of light that could not be ignored—bright, radiant, and impossible to replace. This world will undoubtedly feel dimmer without her laughter, her kindness, and her presence. Though her earthly light has gone out far too soon, the warmth she gave and the love she leaves behind will continue to shine brightly through all those blessed enough to have known and loved her.
Her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and though it is not goodbye, it is simply see you later.
In addition to her mother, Kimberly, Catrina leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts. Those left to honor her life include her beloved son, Tyler McMahan; her sisters, Nichole Lynn Hoppe and Destiny Betts; her brother, Jamie Hall; her step-parents, James Hall Sr. and Missy; her cherished nieces and nephews, Ashlynn Hoppe, Brooklynn Hoppe, Hunter Cook, Kolton Betts, and Natalie Betts; her grandmother, Rose Mary Boesing; her stepsisters, Hannah Beam and Ally Bennett; her uncles, Joe Hall and Jon Hall; her special cousin, Joseph Hall Jr; along with a wide circle of extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.
Catrina was preceded in death by her father, Mathew Boesing; the father of her son, Tobie McMahn; and her grandfather, Robert Boesing.
