Christopher P. Henley, 53
January 30, 1972 — March 8, 2025
Saltillo—Christopher Patrick Henley passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his home. He was 53. Chris was born January 30, 1972, in Homestead, Florida to James Griffin Henley and Dianne B. Henry. He grew up in West Point and the Jackson area and received an associates degree from Hinds Community College. Chris was currently working for Tag Truck Center in parts delivery. He was also a videographer for Mossy Oak, traveling all over the U.S. and Canada making impressive footage for the company. A true outdoorsman, Chris loved hunting wild turkey and deer, passing on his skills to his children. He was also very involved with his boys’ travel baseball teams, assisting on the sidelines. Chris was a member of Saltillo’s First United Methodist Church.
Left behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 14 years, Ali Henley of Saltillo; three children, Caden, age 12, Blake, age 8, and Aubrie, age 6; his parents, James Henley of West Point, and Dianne B. Henry (Dale) of West Point; three sisters, Mary Katherine Cantrell (Corey) of West Point, Jennifer Wilson (Chris) of West Point, and Lesley Henley Rivera (Andy) of Casselberry, Florida; and his nephew and nieces, Cameron, Kennedy, Caradine and Lili.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Lisa E. Henley and a sister, Stephanie Henley.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Saltillo Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Chad Shealy will deliver a eulogy.
His friends and co-workers at Tag Truck Center will serve as honorary pallbearers.
