Myrtle-Danie K Roberson, 69, departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born December 28, 1954 to George Vardaman and Mary Therese Cox Roberson. He was a retired steel fabricator and owner operator of Sam’s Grocery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making all kinds of things, from fog machines to vehicle modifications. He enjoyed being with his family and always made time to visit. His grandchildren were his most prized possession, and he cherished any time spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was of Christian Faith.
Services to celebrate his life will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 3:00pm with Don Barber and Randy Satterfield officiating at United Funeral Service. A visitation will be before the service from 1:00 till 3:00pm also at United. Burial will be in Vista Memorial Park.
He is survived by his three children from his first marriage, Diana Rojas, John Roberson (Cara), Theresa Roberson, and three children from his second, Ernie Rea (Jennifer), Jonathan Rea (Danielle) and Robert Roberson, two sisters, Mary Bishop Poole, and Fay Headrick, one brother, Fred Roberson, and seventeen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Julia Scoggins Roberson, and two brothers, Ned and Ted Roberson.
