New Albany – David Eugene Stout, 71, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born September 11, 1952 in New Albany to Arthur “Bert” Stout and Mary Davis Stout. He was a retired factory worker, having worked at Stratford/Futorian until his retirement.  Mr. David was a loving, kind, and gentle man.  He adored children especially his grandchildren.  In his spare time, you could find him hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature.  He also enjoyed cooking for his family.  He was a member of Ellistown Baptist Church.  He will be greatly missed.
Services for Mr. David will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at United Funeral Service with Bro. Mike Powell officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the start of the service at 2:00 also at United.  Burial will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery.
Those left to carry on his memories are his wife, Cynthia Peach Stout, daughter, Tiffany Gates (Don) one son, Corey Stout (Keri) one step son, Alex Sheffield, three sisters, Doris Shelton. Dorothy Coleman, and Sybil Shaw, three brothers, James Stout, Harvey Stout, and Danny Stout, and four grandchildren, Dylan Gates, Parker Gates, Briley Stout, and Paisley Stout.  He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Frances Coleman, and one brother, Billy Wayne Stout.
