She lived a life marked by love, strength, and a spirited sense of adventure that touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and comfort to her family throughout the years.

Denita was preceded in death by her husband, James Alton Brock; her daughter, Tracey Forthman; her grandson, Hunter Alton Boutain; her parents, Delano Freeman and Frances Geraldine McKinney; and her brothers, Darrel Freeman and Danny Freeman. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

In earlier years, Denita worked in Tool and Die, where she was known for her dependable nature and strong work ethic. Later in life, she devoted herself to being a homemaker, creating a loving and welcoming home for those she cared for most. She took great pride in the simple joys of daily life and found happiness in the company of her loved ones.

Denita especially loved spending time with her family at Pickwick Lake and enjoyed off-road riding, which reflected her adventurous spirit. She also had a passion for collecting, building an impressive assortment of treasured items over the years, including a large collection of McDonald’s toys and antiques.
