Nettleton – Elaine Gray-Jackson, 66, died at her home in Nettleton on Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born Elaine Gray, January 4, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, to James Gray and Lois Shumpert. Elaine greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as fishing and going to garage sales. Over the years, she has worked as a home health aide, a counselor for troubled kids and in manufacturing.
Elaine is survived by her mother Lois Gray of Nettleton, Ms., brothers Kenneth Gray (Joyce) of North Carolina and Samuel Gray (Martha) of Booneville, Ms.; beloved sons, Eric Davis (Joanne) of South Bend, IN, and Brian Gray (Leneatrice) of New Orleans; Daughter, Nicole McCoy of Nettleton, MS; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father James Gray, a brother Rory Gray and daughter Beverly Milligan. She will be missed daily.

At the family’s request, there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
