Florence Lucille Reed, 77

February 14, 1946 – October 28, 2023

Ms. Florence Lucille Reed, 77 and resident of Pontotoc County, passed away, Saturday, October 28, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at later date.

A natural born sweetheart, Ms. Reed was born February 14, 1946 in Tipton, California, to the late Kenneth Berry and Sandy Murphy Sills. She received her education from the Tipton County Public School System and for 37 years was a valued employee at LoBue Brothers as a quality control inspector.

A Christian, Ms Reed having a strong willed personality, will be remembered as exhibiting a great sense of humor, for being a “night owl” and baking cakes for church and family. A two time cancer survivor, Ms. Reed took pride in her beautiful hair that could be described as her “Crowning Glory”. She will be greatly missed by her four dogs, family and her grandchildren that could be described as the loves of her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Renee Curtsinger of Cookeville TN, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Reed, one daughter, Karen Wilson, one son, Kenneth Choate and one brother, Larry Sills.
