2018 Freedom Fest to bring three days of family entertainment
It’s that time of year again and the New Albany Main Street and Community Development team is preparing for a fabulous 2018 Freedom Fest.
Freedom Fest is a weekend long celebration held in historic downtown New Albany and will be host to a variety of musicians. Grace Askew will be playing at the Biscuits & Jam Farmers’ Market on Thursday, June 28th. and, from New Orleans, the Victory Belles will be at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, June 29th. The final evening, Saturday, June 30th, will showcase local artists at the Riverview Stage at the Park Along the River. The The Bonfire Orchestra, Paul Tate Trio, and Sam Mosley & The Muscle Shoals Horns will perform beginning at 6:00pm. And, of course, a festival that celebrates our freedom would not be complete without fireworks! In addition to the musical guests at The Park Along the River, there will be inflatable jumpies and vendors of all sorts.
We truly hope that you will consider coming out and supporting this family friendly event. Please call the Main Street (662) 534-3438 or Community Development (662) 534-1047 office or send an email to billyejeanstroud@newalbanymainstreet.com with any questions that you may have.
