Harriet Ann Clardy, 67

October 22, 1956 – October, 25, 2023

TUPELO – Harriet Ann Clardy, 67, died Wednesday, October, 25, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born October 22, 1956, in Pecos, Texas, to Doug and Willie Mai Durm. She was the proud mother of two sons, Chad and Chris, and a fierce advocate and friend to those who had unique struggles. She helped many people anonymously over the years and couldn’t do it enough. She worked as the Secretary to the Mayor of Corinth for many years and was an active member of many non-profit organizations. Most recently she was a Certified Peer Support Specialist helping others along their journey of recovery. Harriet loved sports and watching them with family and friends.

Survivors include her two sons, Chad Clardy and his wife Lena, of Tupelo; Chris Clardy and his wife Mary Anne of Biggersville; six grandchildren, Caroline, Mary Catherine, Andrew, Christopher, Zachary, and Mark Isaac , her best friend, Stephanie Stout and a host of cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mai Poe Durm and her father, James Douglas Durm.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023, in the Sade M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors with Dr. Nathan Van Horn officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM to service time. Burial will be private.
