Here are the detailed maps of the new Union County supervisory and justice court districts
NEMiss.News reported earlier this week on the new voting districts approved by the Union County Board of Supervisors. We promised then to publish the detailed maps when they came available, and here they are.
Monday, Aug. 15, the board voted unanimously to adopt the new district lines for members of the board of supervisors and justice court judgeships. The redistricting work, required by the population changes reflected in the 2020 census, was done by the civil engineering firm Elliott & Britt.
County Board President C. J. Bright provided the maps to NEMiss.News after he received them from Elliott & Britt.
Links to the PDF files of the maps for Union County and for the city of New Albany are provided below. The PDF maps are enlargeable (click on black bar at top) and moveable (use gray bars at right & bottom) on computers to aid in determination of your new voting districts.
Any voter not able to determine which district he is in should contact the Union County Circuit Clerk’s office, 8 to 5, Monday through Friday, at the county courthouse.
