Janet Rushing Harrington, 58

February 4, 1966 – March 24, 2024

Janet Rushing Harrington, 58, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Janet was born in Ripley, MS, on February 4, 1966, to Larry D. and Betty Hudspeth Rushing. She was a retired devoted employee of Walmart. She was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed working outside in her flowers, and she loved going on hikes and finding waterfalls. She was a very loved wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother that loved to play with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. All times will be at United Funeral Service. Rev. Sue Harrington will officiate. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Dana Harrington, two sons, Zane Crowell of Dorsey, MS, Caleb Crowell of Ashland, MS, two stepsons, Chris Harrington (Amanda) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Josh Harington (Julia) of Hickory Flat, MS, her father Larry D. Rushing of Tupelo, MS, her mother Betty Call of Ashland, MS, her grandchildren, Johnathan, Asher, And John Micah. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Hurstine Rushing and Clyde and Genola Hudspeth and one sister Emily Rushing.
