Jerry Wayne Lewis, 65

February 19, 1959 – March 2, 2024

Myrtle – Jerry Wayne Lewis, 65, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Baptist Hospital Oxford surrounded by his family. He was born February 19, 1959 to Ruth and James I Lewis. He worked construction most of his life. He enjoyed working on cars and road trips.

He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Jo Lane Lewis, his daughter, Kimberly Vines (Bob); his son Allen Lewis (Misti); grandchildren, Kenneth Killinger, Mathew Adam Lewis, and Lauren Vines; sisters Joyce Bishop and Tammy Dillard; brother, James L. Lewis, mother-in-law, Nora Lee Frazier, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and James I Lewis and father-in-law Joe Allen Frazier.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Dale Lewis, Robbie Lutts, Christopher Bishop, Jacob Lewis, Darius Knox, and Daren Knox.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Hale officiating. All times are at United Funeral Service. There will be no graveside service.
