Joyce L. Snow, 87

January 19, 1939 — July 9, 2026

Tupelo – Joyce “Doll” Snow, 87, died Thursday, July 9, 2026 in the hospice care unit at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Thursday, January, 19, 1939 to Grady and Willie Stanford.

She retired from Westwood Industries, where she worked for many years as a manufacturing seamstress. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and had a deep love for gospel music.

Doll was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Dexter Wayne Snow; her parents; one brother; three sisters; and three nieces.

She is survived by her two sons, George Snow of Tupelo, and Michael Snow (Cathy) of Pontotoc; three grandchildren, Britni Hodge of Pontotoc, Austin Snow (Savannah) of Pontotoc, and Piper Snow of Pontotoc; one great-grandchild, Hari Hodge of Pontotoc; one sister, Marie Lackey of Tupelo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whom she adored.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Snow, David Orman, Tony Palmer, Chris Palmer, Brad Lackey, and Steve Stanford.

Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2026, 12 p.m. until service time at Pegues, Tupelo, Mississippi.

Services honoring the life of Doll will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Corey Collis officiating. Burial will follow at Pearce Chapel Cemetery in Smithville, Mississippi.
