Kimberly M. Lumpkin, 38

August 18, 1985 – March 1, 2024

Kimberly M. “Kim K” Lumpkin, 38, resident of Ashland, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by family, on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Visitation for Kim will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 11:00 am until time of service beginning at 2:00 pm in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. Bro. Steven Thomas will officiate with burial following at New Hope Cemetery.

Born August 18, 1985, in Shelby County, Tennessee, Ms. Lumpkin is the daughter of Peppa Houston and the late Clyde Lumpkin, Jr. A Christian and home maker, Ms. Lumpkin attended Millington High School, she was artistic, enjoyed shopping and was very outgoing.  A loving mother, daughter and sister, Kim will be remembered for time shared with her family and her pet grand dog, “Bean”, as well as her love for the Memphis Tigers.

Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, three daughters, Eriannah Holland, of Ashland, MS, Gabbie and Jailynn Vonsiebenhoven, both of Hattiesburg, MS, two sisters, Carla Zanes (R.J.) of Bentonville, AR, and Erika Houston Holland of Memphis, TN.

Along with her father, Kim is also preceded in death by one brother, Chuck Houston.
