Lee County deputies arrest teen in school threat

Tupelo MS-Wednesday morning a post was made via social media concerning a threat to area schools.

The threat did not specify any individual or school, as was believed to be an isolated instance.

The suspect, a 14 year old male was arrested and is now in custody at the Lee County Sheriff’s office.

The  Sheriff’s Department takes all threats seriously, and strives to ensure the safety of the county’s schools.
