TUPELO – Linda Gail Gibson died on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at her home in Tupelo, MS, with her family by her side. Linda was born February 28, 1944, in Whynot, MS, to Earl and Florine Vaughn. She graduated from Vinville High School and in the year 1962 was married to Shelby Goodin of Dekalb, MS. In May of 1964 they became parents of twin daughters, Rhonda and Robin. She worked at Landau as a supervisor in New Albany, MS where she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Goodin, and daughter, Rhonda Cook. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Robbins and her husband Sean Robbins; grandchildren, Patrick Robbins, Bruce Mapp, John T. Cook, Jade Cook, and London Cook; and her sisters, Frances Fleming, and Fay George, along with several great-grandchildren.

Holland Funeral Directors of Tupelo, MS is entrusted with the cremation and a memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Wildwood Baptist Church.
