Mary Beth Goodpaster Cobb, 59

July 23, 1964 – January 31, 2024

Mary Beth Goodpaster Cobb, age 59, of Fulton, passed away on January 31, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on July 23, 1964, in Indiana to her mother, Carol Landes.



Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Lindsay Garrison of Fulton, Katie Ivy (Jake) of Shannon, and her devoted son, Justin Cobb (Laken) of Mantachie. She leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Gianna, Aubree, Joseph, and Samuel. Mary is also survived by her brother, Mark Goodpaster of Houston, Texas, and her special friends, Craig Capps and Lori Harbin. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Mary had a passion for life and found joy in simple pleasures. Her love for 80’s hair bands, especially Bon Jovi, and the soulful voice of Steven Tyler were a testament to her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Mary was an avid fan of Law and Order SVU, showcasing her appreciation for mystery and justice.

Visitation to celebrate Mary’s life will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo, MS. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and support one another during this difficult time.
