Funeral Services honoring the life of Mitchell will be 1 PM Sunday December 17, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Wallace officiating. Visitation will be 10:30 AM until Service Time on Sunday December 17, 2023, at Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Little Hope Cemetery.

Born August 24, 1978, at the Tippah County Hospital, Mitchell is the son of Torri Seawright and Terri Barkley. He received his education from Falkner High School and in his teenage years he took an interest in landscaping while helping with the Tippah County Growers. He was a hard worker and was currently employed with, Green Kings of North, Mississippi. Landscaping was Mitchell’s passion, and he was blessed with the ability to know exactly where to plant the perfect flowers, what plants looked best grouped together, and always left people with a smile on their face after landscaping for them.

A Christian and easy going soul, Mitchell’s favorite pastimes included being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with friends. In earlier years he enjoyed holidays shared with his family and camping trips he went on with his father and brothers. To know Mitchell was to love him and his friendly personality and gentle spirit will greatly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, memories will continue to be shared by one daughter, Olivia Grace Sexton, his girlfriend, Jennifer Smith, three brothers, Rodney Seawright (Daphnie “Dee Dee” Young), Chuck Huddleston, and Chris Seawright, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce and Vernice Seawright and Janice and Linsey Barkley.
