New Albany Fire Department answers call to Oxford Road fire
The New Albany Fire Department responded to call about a house fire on Oxford Road shortly before 5 pm, Friday evening, Nov. 30.
Several fire engines went to a house at 202 Oxford Road.
Someone had turned on an attic exhaust fan that had not been used for a long time. Apparently the fan motor had gotten hot and started smoldering.
Firemen checked the structure thoroughly and found no other fire source. There were no injuries.
