Ollie Bell Butler Floyd, 87

November 3, 1936 – January 25, 2024

Ollie Bell Butler Floyd, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at New Albany Health and Rehab. She was born November 3, 1936 in Yalobusha County to Albert Lee and Mittie Bell Reynolds Butler. She retired from Mohasco after forty-six years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, yardwork and flowers. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a very loved mother, grandmother, sister and friend; and will be missed by all who loved her.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at United Funeral Service. Bro. Bobby Butler will officiate. Burial will be at Glenfield Memorial Park.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Floyd (Marcie), Steve Floyd and Dan Floyd; two sisters, Mary Lee Reed and Gerald Dean Lucas (Don); five grandchildren: Wynn Floyd, Wade Floyd, Ben Floyd (Heather), Emily Floyd and Adam Floyd; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Floyd; three brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Parker, Chuck Harris, Mike Thompson, Wynn Floyd, Wade Floyd, Ben Floyd and Adam Floyd.
