Pamela Jean Watson, 56

Pamela Jean Watson was born October 1, 1967 to Oscar Raymond Watson and Shirley Pinson in Pontotoc, Mississippi. On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, she departed this life at Eskenazi Health Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana when she answered the Master’s call.

Pam confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Naylor Chapel CME Church, where she remained a member until death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar R. Watson and Shirley Pinson; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wardlaw, and Janie Bell Watson; two brothers, James Watson and Larry Watson; two uncles, Willie B. Wardlaw and Billy Wardlaw; one nephew, Antonio Roberson; one sister in law, Brenda Watson; and step-father, Bobby Joe Pinson.

Pam leaves to cherish her life memories: three brothers, Oscar Watson, Bobby Watson, and Robert Lee Watson all of Pontotoc, MS; one sister, Pearl Watson of Pontotoc, MS; three special children in her life that she loved so dearly as her own, Chance Amare Hobson, Ahmad Jamielle Hobson, and A’Railynn Williams; two daughters, LaQuita Watson of Pontotoc, MS and Evelyn Fox of Indianapolis, IN; one son, Roderick Mason of Pontotoc, MS; six grandchildren, Zaekyrah Crudup, Chrishawn Crudup, Quintavias Crudup, Elijah Crudup, Eleecia, and Elayjah; two great grandchildren, Eli’jon Fox and Harmonie Taylor; one special aunt, Mary Ann Bell of Pontotoc, MS; three nieces, Barbara Kay Lipsey of Pontotoc, MS, Shirley (KeKe) Watson of Pontotoc, MS, and Marilyn Roberson of Ripley, MS; two nephews, Tommy Lee Watson and Oscar Oneal Lipsey of Pontotoc, MS; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Viewing will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Naylor Chapel CME Church in Pontotoc, MS. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Naylor Chapel CME Church in Pontotoc, MS.
