Miss Paris Jean Anthony, 45, transitioned on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at North MS Medical Center, in Tupelo, MS.



Miss Paris Jean Anthony was born December 13, 1977, to the late Minister Oliver Anthony and Gloria Jean Boyce Anthony, in Memphis, TN.

She departed her life on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at North MS Medical Center, in Tupelo, MS.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Hearn Grove M.B. Church, in Byhalia, MS, and later united with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Tupelo, MS, under the leadership of Pastor Lowell Walker Jr.

She loved to cook and spend time with her family.

Her memories will be cherished by her son: Elijah Lee Anthony of Tupelo, MS; two sisters: Octavia (John) Patrice Mitchell of Jackson, MO, and April Anthony of Memphis, TN; Uncles Charles and Chris Boyce, Charles (Bessie) Anthony, S.T. (Bobbie) Anthony, Clarence (Sharmaine) Anthony, Theodore Anthony, Phillips (Michelle) Anthony; Aunts Terri (L.C.) Marr, Erma Goodman, Annier Marr, Angela Pye, and Lashonda Smith; her special cousin Loretta Gatewood Gates.

Friends Racheal Conburn, Laquita Johnson, Yolanda Loyd, and Sharon Harris.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Paraisa Santrice Anthony, parents Minister Oliver Anthony and Gloria Jean Boyce Anthony, and brother Oliver Quintin Anthony Jr.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m.,  on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Hearn Grove M.B. Church, 919 Deer Creek Road, Byhalia, MS 38611.

Burial will follow at Hearn Grove M.B. Church Cemetery in Byhalia, MS.

Serenity Funeral Home of Holly Springs, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
