Patrica Gale Simpson fell asleep in death on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the age of 80. Gale and James were happily married for 58 years, and raised two children, James Bradley and Catina Nicole. Their family grew to include one daughter-in-law, Mila. Gale was a loving and hard-working wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. What was of greatest importance to her was her relationship with her God, Jehovah. Gale was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1963 and was faithful until her death. She found great joy in helping others come to know the Creator and his promises for the future. For 13 years she served as a full-time minister of the good news of God’s Kingdom. Her quiet and mild spirit along with her good sense of humor endeared her to the hearts of many.

Gale, along with her family, greatly appreciated the many prayers, love, and comfort from their wonderful spiritual family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Her parents Hugh Mayes and Celia Brown Crumpton. Her sisters, Tommy Gene Crumpton, Mayzelle Gullett, and Beverly Huffstatler. She is survived by her brother Larry Crumpton, and two sisters, Reida Johnson and Charlotte Nowlin. Her son Bradley, daughter-in-law Mila and daughter, Nicki.
