Paula C. Fooshee, 78
March 15, 1948 – October 1, 2026
Mrs. Paula C. Fooshee lived a life marked by love, service, and devotion to her family. Born to Jessie Savage and Louise Harris, Paula grew to become a woman whose caring spirit touched the lives of her family, friends, and the many individuals she served throughout her career.
Paula dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She was employed with Traceway, where her compassionate nature and willingness to help others were evident in the care she provided. After many years of faithful service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication.
Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church. Paula also enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life beautiful. She had a special love for sewing and flowers, and these interests reflected her patient, creative, and nurturing spirit.
Paula shared the journey of marriage with her beloved husband, the late Kenneth Fooshee, Jr. Together, they built a family and created memories that will continue to live in the hearts of their loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her three sons, Jesse Fooshee, Phillip Fooshee, and Marcus Fooshee; two daughters, Linda Caperton and Amanda Collins; five sisters, Joyce Bradley, Charlotte Dill, Kay Rice, Gwen Carnell, and Lori Seger; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Fooshee, Jr., and her daughter, Jackie Tucker.
Although her earthly journey has come to an end, the love Paula gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain with her family for generations to come. Her family will remember her love, her caring heart, her devotion to those around her, and the special joy she found in sewing and beautiful flowers.
May those who loved Paula find comfort in knowing that a life filled with love and service leaves behind a legacy that time cannot erase.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
