Storms that passed through the area this afternoon did extensive damage to power infrastructure in New Albany and Hickory Flat. A Facebook post from Bill Mattox at New Albany Lights, Gas and Water said two circuits were damaged in New Albany, with the most extensive damage in North Side. All NALGW crews are out working and Tupelo Water and Light has sent a crew to help.
